Welcome to Sharm

Sharm

Sharm El Sheikh has a deserved reputation of providing stunning holidays at an extremely reasonable cost. It is the perfect destination for those seeking sun, sea and all the fun of a Mediterranean style holiday while avoiding the often higher cost of the Euro zone resorts.

Sharm as it is commonly known by its many repeat visitors is located 500 kms south east of Cairo on the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula and is less than a twenty minute transfer from the newly modernized Sharm El Sheikh airport.

The resort offers arguably the most dazzlingly underwater adventures in the world and has long been the destination of choice for both the leisure and pro diver, if you prefer to spend your time looking at the sea rather then swimming beneath it then the beauty of the pristine beaches will not disappoint.

Imagine spending lazy days sunbathing beneath the hot Egyptian sun on that flawless white sandy beach, with year round sunshine and a selection of hotels ranging from value bed and breakfast to 5* Hotels such as the Hilton Waterfalls or Inter Plaza Beach, you’re sure to find the right holiday in Sharm El sheikh for you.

Eating Out

Dining out in Sharm el Sheikh is hugely pleasurable, whether you're looking for an authentic snack or a three course meal in an exclusive restaurant. There are a number of British restaurants and bars for those who are looking for a taste of home, while there's a wealth of other cuisines available too, from Lebanese to Asian and everything in between.

If you're interested in Egyptian cuisine, there are many local restaurants, where you should expect local seafood, freshly baked breads, but no alcohol, although some restaurants do have a 'bring your own bottle' policy. There's very little you can't find in terms of food within Sharm el Sheikh, from fast food establishments to little bistros for a romantic meal, so take some time to explore.

A number of hotels also offer restaurants which are open to non-guests but these are often more expensive than eating elsewhere in the resort. A number of local bars offer shishah pipes and tea, which is a different way to experience local culture; most bars which offer shisha will not serve alcohol.
